PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have been spotted returning from a romantic getaway on a tiny island in the Caribbean.

The Sussexes had been snapped walking hand-in-hand along a sunny sea-front boulevard on Canouan in the Grenadines, before touching down in Atlanta yesterday.

Harry and Meghan had spent the weekend away in the Caribbean, jetting off to the tiny island.

Meghan was snapped reaching for Harry’s hand after the pair left a gourmet food store inside the Sandy Lane Yacht Club and Marina in Glossy Bay on Friday.

The source told MailOnline: “They looked happy. As Harry walked out of the shop, he slightly bumped into one of the barrels [outside] and they both giggled and Meghan reached for his hand.

“They just looked very happy to be having a holiday together.”

Meghan and Harry had been shopping at Faye – an upmarket grocery store.

It describes itself as offering an “exclusive selection of fresh seasonal organic products, from vegetables to cheeses, sweets, seafood and exclusive meat cuts” imported from France.

The couple then made their way along the waterfront, before being picked up by a luxury boat and sailing off towards Canouan’s north shore.

Archie and Lilibet were nowhere to be seen, and it appears the couple had been away for a kid-free weekend on the resort island.

The island is said to be known as where “billionaires go to escape millionaires” due to its stunning sandy beaches and upscale resorts.

Rooms at one – the Mandarin Oriental – start at £688 and climb to a steep £7,389-a-night for the property’s luxury four-bedroom villa.

Elsewhere, at Soho Beach House, it’s most expensive room goes for a whopping £986 – but members like Meghan get a discount and pay £838 per night.

The pair were then seen getting off a private jet in Atlanta yesterday.

Meghan could be seen sporting a souvenir tote bag, with Harry walking not far behind, as they walked across the tarmac and were greeted by staff and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents. 

It’s unknown if the couple are in Atlanta for work or leisure.

The Sussexes’ getaway comes after they last week attended a mental health summit in New York.

There they revealed they fear their children going online as they get older.
