Prince Harry and Meghan tipped to release new picture of Archie to mark his fifth birthday | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could be set to release a new picture of Prince Archie to mark his fifth birthday on Monday.

Meghan gave birth to Archie in the UK in May 2019 – but the couple’s son has spent the majority of his life in America.

The couple have shared very little information about their two children, with both Archie and his little sister Lilibet being kept out of the royal spotlight.

Meghan teamed up with photographer Jake Rosenberg to take photographs of her and her two children at their mansion in California back in March.

The photoshoot is believed to have coincided with Meghan’s new brand, American Riviera Orchard but it was previously reported that Meghan had also wanted some pictures taken of Archie and Lilibet.

An expert has now speculated that Meghan and Harry could be set to release one of these photographs on Monday.

Speaking to the Mirror, PR expert Lynn Carratt from Press Box PR said: “”It would be nice to see a picture of Archie released on his birthday. Meghan and Harry often keep their children fairly private these days, even keeping their images off their annual Christmas card.

“In the first couple of years after Archie was born, there were pictures released on his birthday; however, at that point, there were still part of the monarchy.”

Speaking of the recent photoshoot, Ms Carratt added: “However, it was reported in March that Meghan had enlisted the photographer Jake Rosenberg to snap some images of the family and the children. They may use one of those pictures to mark Archie’s birthday on Monday.”
