William ‘still feels betrayed’ by Harry but Charles is ‘using coronation to heal rifts and bring Andrew “in from cold”‘

KING Charles is using his coronation to heal family rifts but Prince William still feels “betrayed” by Prince Harry, sources have claimed.

Harry announced this week he would be attending the ceremony on May 6 but wife Meghan Markle will remain at home in the US.

His decision came amid months of mounting tension between his family following the fallout from his explosive autobiography Spare.

But while his father glad at having his son’s support on his big day, William is said to be less forgiving, The Telegraph reports.

Sources have revealed the distance between the once-close brothers is now so wide that it’s hard to see how they can ever move forward.

Harry will be staying in Frogmore Cottage for the last time on his visit next month – close to Adelaide Cottage where William lives with Princess Kate and their three children.

But his brother reportedly has no plans to speak to Harry after his repeated attacks against the family in both Spare and his Netflix documentary.

The negativity surrounding the brothers ahead of the coronation could not be further from King Charles’ plans with his own sibling.

The monarch is hoping the historic event will bring Prince Andrew in “from the cold” after he stepped down as a senior royal over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.

One source told the newspaper that “there’s a warmth around the place and a proper rallying around the King, who in turn is showing some serious EQ (emotional intelligence) by ensuring the family is given the opportunity to pull together”.

The insider added: “All four siblings spent most of the Easter weekend together with assorted children and plus ones – including the Duchess [of York].

“I suspect some Palace staff and parts of the media are well behind the curve in their understanding of this private family unity. The Duke [of York] stands four square behind the King.”

One noticeably absent member of the family missing from proceedings will be Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

She will instead watch the event on TV at Royal Lodge, which she shares with Andrew still.

Fergie is joined on the sidelines by Meghan who is staying in the US for son Archie’s fourth birthday.
