The Princess of Wales has been discharged from The London Clinic in Marylebone after a 14-day stay following planned abdominal surgery on January 16.
The 41-year-old will continue her recovery at home in Windsor, with many people on hand to help the princess get back to complete health.
Aside from her husband Prince William and her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, one person who is bound to be key in helping Princess Kate over the coming months is her personal assistant – and friend – Natasha Archer.
Ms Archer, who is also a mother herself, started working for Princess Kate in 2007 and has been on hand for many of her important occasions such as the births of all three of her children.
Natasha’s main role is being Kate’s PA, but has also been known to assist Kate as her ‘style advisor’ in recent years.
In 2014, there had been rumours that the late Queen had requested Kate to look more “regal” on her tour to Australia and New Zealand.
Thanks to Natasha’s help, Kate was able to adhere to the late Queen’s requests and is now known as one of the world’s most stylish women.
Natasha is also married to photographer Chris Jackson.
The day after Prince George’s birth in July 2013, Natasha was seen arriving at the Lindo Wing with a baby car seat and a dress bag.
A source previously spoke of Kate’s close relationship with Natasha.
The source stated that the pair “get on very well. She has always supported and advised Kate – and the [then-]Duchess loves Natasha’s style.
“So to it seems like an obvious appointment. Natasha has been helping Kate pick outfits for the tour.”
Natasha, who welcomed her second child in 2022, also accompanied Princess Kate on a six-hour trek in Bhutan in 2016.
Ms Archer’s commitment to the Royal Family – especially Kate – was rewarded in 2019.
Natasha was appointed a Member of the Royal Victorian Order by Prince William in a special ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
According to Kensington Palace’s statement from January 17, Princess Kate is not expected to return to royal duties until “after Easter”.
