Wedding of Prince Eudes, Duke of Angouleme, 1999


The House of Orléans celebrated the Wedding of Prince Eudes, Duke of Angouleme and Marie-Liesse de Rohan-Chabot in Antrain-sur-Couesnon on this day in 1999, 25 years ago, after his grandfather, the Count of Paris, passed away during their Civil Ceremony.

Prince Eudes Thibaut, Duke of Angoulême, son of the Count of Paris and Duchess Marie-Thérèse of Württemberg, Duchess of Montpensier, married Marie-Liesse de Rohan-Chabot, daughter of Count Louis Mériadek de Rohan-Chabot and Princess Isabelle de Bauffremont-Courtenay, at l’Église d’Antrain in Antrain-sur-Couesnon in Ille et Vilaine.

Prince Eudes, Duke of Angouleme married Marie-Liesse de Rohan-Chabot in the Town Hall of Dreux, during which they were informed of the death of his grandfather, the Count of Paris. The Duke and Duchess of Angouleme have two children, Princess Therese and Prince Pierre.

The new Duchess of Angouleme wore a Chanel Gown and the Rohan-Chabot Tiara.

Princess Isabelle, the Countess of Paris (wearing her Art Deco Diamond Brooches) led the members of the House of Orléans including the Count of Paris and Duchess of Montpensier.
