Royal fans are in constant debate over who the most beautiful member of the Royal Family is, with the likes of Kate, Princess of Wales and Meghan Markle named among the public’s favourites. But according to Tatler, there is a lesser known member of the Firm who has taken the title.
The publication crowned the granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, Lady Amelia Windsor, as the Windsor’s most beautiful member.
Amelia is a model who has made a number of appearances in the public eye, walking in shows for fashion brands such as Dolce and Gabbana.
The 28-year-old is 43rd in line for the throne, and is the late Queen Elizabeth II’s first cousin, twice removed. She is also a third cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry.
After attending St Mary’s School in Ascot, she took a gap year before enrolling at the University of Edinburgh to further her education in studies of French and Italian.
Upon leaving university, she was signed by top modelling agency Storm, who had previously propelled Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss into stardom.
Since then, she has been involved with a number of fashion brands, such as Azzedine Alaia and Bvlgari. She has also been the face of make-up brand Illamasqua. In 2017, she featured on the cover of Vogue Japan.
Amelia, who is a second cousin once removed of King Charles III, offers frequent insights to her life via her Instagram account, which boasts over 100,000 followers. She shares pictures of her modelling work, as well as showcasing her appreciation for art.
She also uses the platform to promote her philanthropic endeavours, which include being an ambassador for non-profit organisation No More Plastic, along with for the Blue Marine Foundation.
In 2018, Amelia told the Telegraph: “We’re all aware of the huge plastic crisis and the effect its having on our planet. Fashion is a key role in that, but then also there are ways we can deal with it.”
She also described how “Stella McCartney is someone to look up to in that sense, she makes the bigger point in her collection that you can be sustainable and stylish”.
She added: “That should be something that everyone looks for when they shop now.”
