Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands was back on royal duty after a major injury. 

Just over a week after having surgery to repair a broken arm, the Princess of Orange accompanied her father to present a new regimental standard. 

King Willem-Alexander and his eldest daughter visited the Princess Catharina-Amalia Hussars Regiment at Prince Bernhard Barracks in Amersfoort. 

Formed out of three separate regiments in 2020, the calvary regiment named for the heir to the throne oversees the operation of all Dutch military tanks, as well as other duties. 

Despite her broken arm, the future queen channelled a strong sense of style for the outing. She wore a midi dress from royal favourite Natan Couture in a bright red, pink, and orange floral, and accessorised with a deep red pair of pumps and a coordinating clutch. A tan cocktail hat completed the look. 

While Princess Catharina-Amalia is still wearing a sling to help aid her recovery, she was able to take it off for pictures with the regiment. 

On 10 June, the Dutch Royal Palace revealed that the Princess of Orange had broken her arm after falling off her horse. She underwent surgery at UMC Utrecht shortly afterwards and will have a lengthy recovery ahead of her.
