WHILE most of us had our eyes on the King and Queen Consort this morning, others were looking out for the best dressed – and it seems Pippa Middleton may be up for that crown.
The sister of the Princess of Wales has already received high phrase after being spotted outside Westminster Abbey in a lemon-yellow dress by luxury British designer Clare Mischevani.
She completed the look with a statement hat, her hair up in a classic updo, and nude pointed pumps.
While Pippa’s bespoke dress isn’t available to buy, similar styles will set shoppers back a whopping £995.
However, some savvy shoppers have already spotted an affordable ‘dupe’ – and it’s now just £55.
Warehouse’s Belted Tailored Blazer Dress is currently available online in a size 10 to 16 and is currently reduced to £55.30, down from £79.
For those wanting to follow Pippa’s style, opting for something below the knee, Ghost’s Meryl Butter Satin Midi Dress is available in the same on-trend colour for £129.
On Twitter, Coronation viewers shared their reactions to her pastel ensemble, with one writing: “Spotted her straight away in Westminster Abbey. Sublime!!”
“Pippa Middleton did well imo. It looks elegant,” commented someone else.
Another suggested: “Pippa’s outfit, reminds me so much of Kate’s Platinum Jubilee outfit!”
During last year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Kate was spotted wearing a similar lemon yellow number at the Service of Thanksgiving, held at St Paul’s Cathedral on June 3, 2022.
The Princess of Wales paired the pastel yellow Emilia Wickstead Elta Coat Dress, costing £1,495, with a pair of Gianvito Rossi suede pumps, priced at £600.
She completed the look with a coordinating fascinator, decorated with faux yellow roses, and pearl drop earrings.
Kate was also spotted wearing the same shade at Trooping the Colour to celebrate the late Queen Elizabeth’s birthday in 2019.
For her ninth attendance at the Royal tradition, she was seen sporting a structured yellow shift dress with three-quarter length sleeves, reportedly by Alexander McQueen.
She finished off her elegant look with a matching yellow hat by Philip Treacy.
