An insider has revealed how the Middletons have reached out to Princess Kate’s uncle, Gary Goldsmith, to make sure there are no private family revelations in his book, in case of any retaliatory reaction by the Duke of Sussex.

Speaking exclusively to OK! Magazine, the insider said: “There are disclosures they would never forgive him for if they were ever to be made public. William and Kate are trying to avoid that at all costs. They don’t want a book to fan the flames which could set Harry off again.”

The younger brother of Princess Kate’s mother Carole Middleton, is tipped to release a book and “set the record straight”, giving the family an opportunity to have a “voice and “fight back” after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s accusatory Netflix docuseries and the Duke’s own memoir, Spare.

The source added: “Carole has made it very clear that there should be no private family business written about. Kate is afraid that it could provoke Harry into writing another book.

“Gary has already finished the first draft and a number of publishers have shown interest, but he knows it won’t get as much pickup if it’s only about him.”
