Queen Rania of Jordan has spoken about King Charles and his Coronation ahead of the big event.

Speaking to ITV, Her Majesty said that King Charles is “taking it all in his stride, he seems to be in very high spirits. He seems as I’ve always known him to be – he’s someone who’s compassionate, he’s a very genuine person.”

She was also asked to give Queen Camilla advice on being consort, to which she said: “There is no road map.”

Queen Rania is known to have taken the role of Queen Consort of Jordan and made it her own. She has many projects she’s passionate about, including refugees and children.

The Queen of Jordan wasn’t the only Jordanian royal to talk about the Coronation. Princess Haya, Rania’s sister-in-law, posted a heartfelt message on Instagram to King Charles and Queen Camilla.

She wrote: “Your Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla,

“May you be buoyed by waves of goodwill from around the world as you embark on a journey to build upon the extraordinary legacies of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness Prince Philip. And may your own reign be long, happy and glorious.

“With love, respect, and every good wish for tomorrow and every day to come.”

She signed her post with her name and the name of her two children – Jalila and Zayed.

Haya’s oldest sibling, Princess Alia, commented on the post, saying, “Amen to that,” further showing the strong support and relationship the British and Jordanian royals have with one another.
