Princes Harry & William record SEPARATE video messages to Diana Awards winners days after Sussexes evicted from Frogmore

PRINCES Harry and William awkwardly appeared in separate video messages to congratulate the 2023 Diana Awards winners.

The warring brothers didn’t even acknowledge each other as they sat to celebrate the ceremony, dedicated to their late mother’s beliefs.

In previous years, they have joined together to remember Princess Diana’s globally recognised charity work.

But today, the Prince of Wales appeared on screens first with Harry joining 20 minutes later.

Neither uttered a word to commemorate what would have been their mother’s birthday tomorrow.

This greatly differs from their united response in 2021, when Harry said: “William and I are recognising mum’s 60th birthday.

“Later this week, my brother and I are recognising what would have been our mum’s 60th birthday, and she would be so proud of you all for living an authentic life with purpose and with compassion for others.”

The brothers also stood beside each other at a statue they commissioned of Diana in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace.

But this year the Duke of Sussex year went to LA to award four award winners with their certificates and today said: “Each one of us has the ability to help create a more equitable world.

“And the brilliant award recipients we’re honouring today are proof of that. They exemplify the notion that when we use our voices, change really can happen.”

The 38-year-old said Princess Diana recognised the “unique ability” in the younger generation to “challenge the status quo” and fight for a “more inclusive and compassionate society”.

“Her legacy continues to inspire and serve as an example of how to navigate the complexities of our world today”, he added.

“And so many of the numerous challenges that we face disproportionately affect young people and of course their futures.”

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales said: “The road to making a difference is not always easy, but as we celebrate the impact they have made, we are reminded that no challenge is insurmountable.

“Today, we recognise the power of all young people to inspire meaningful change. To all the award recipients – congratulations.”

He spoke of how The Diana Awards serve as a reminder that if the next generation is invested in, “they can truly change the world”.

The 41-year-old added he was “proud” to continue the organisation in his mother’s name.

It comes after the Sussexes’ eviction from Frogmore Cottage left royal fans and experts wondering where they will stay next time they visit the UK.

Plus, Prince Harry is set to lose a major royal role following the eviction, an expert has claimed.

Harry and Meghan yesterday finally cleared out of the Windsor royal home and returned the keys to King Charles.

Five-bed, Grade II-listed Frogmore — given a £2.4million makeover by the Sussexes — is now set to be rented out.

Harry and Meghan lived at the cottage, a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth, for just six months.

Earlier this year, The Sun revealed the Sussexes were served with an eviction notice days after Harry’s book Spare was released.

And King Charless coronation was the first time the Prince of Wales has faced Harry since the January publication of his bombshell memoir.

In it, Harry branded his brother his “arch-nemesis”.

He claimed that one altercation in Nottingham Cottage, in the grounds of Kensington Palace, saw Wills force him to the floor, breaking a dog bowl and leaving him with visible back injuries.

The book also called Camilla “dangerous” and said he had pleaded with Charles, now 74, not to wed the Queen Consort, 75.
