Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just one friendship left in the Royal Family, a royal commentator has claimed.

Since stepping down from their working roles within the Firm in 2020, they are understood to have barely spoken with much of the family – and are not currently on speaking terms with Prince William and Princess Kate, with whom they were once referred to as the “Fab Four”.

However, there does remain one point of contact, royal commentator Jennie Bond claimed – Princess Eugenie. The commentator also criticised the couple over their rumoured relationship with the Kardashian family.

Ms Bond said: “They seem to have cut all ties with the Royal Family – except for Princess Eugenie – so it seems inevitable that they will now embrace lives as La La Land celebs.

“Personally I think it would be ludicrous and rather demeaning to appear in the Kardashians.

“I think they are better than that.”

A royal insider recently claimed to Heat magazine that the Firm was “concerned” about the Sussexes’ friendship with Eugenie and Beatrice, saying: “For the King, Camilla, and the Waleses, it’s rather unfortunate that Eugenie and Beatrice are so close with the Sussexes.”

They added: “Beatrice and Eugenie are still privy to a lot of what’s happening inside Buckingham Palace, so there’s a concern about what they’re telling them, and what they could reveal – even unintentionally”.
