Meghan Markle had a firm response when asked to try out a niche winter sport during the ‘One Year to Go’ warm-up event ahead of the winter Invictus Games, 2025.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out on Thursday, February 16 for the second day of the event in Vancouver, and Prince Harry was seen daring a go at skeleton-bobsledding.

It’s a winter sliding sport in which a person rides a small sled, head-first, down a cold, frozen track to pick up speed.

When a photographer asked Meghan to try out the sport, she retorted “No way!”, as she watched on instead and cheered Harry alongside the crowd.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, looked the part in a black puffer coat, black jeans, ski boots and oversized sunglasses and watched on with a huge, beaming smile on her face.

Meghan Markle has been seen capturing all the special moments on a phone as she looked on to support her husband participating in the Winter Games.

While Meghan dressed in stylish winter fashion for the occasion, wearing a navy puffer jacket, beanie and scarf, social media watchers couldn’t help but gush over the duchess’s stunning looks and glossy hair. Social media user, @mnavorable86 added: “Love the entire outfit… Megan looks relaxed and yet again pulling off an effortless look.”

Throughout the three-day trip, Meghan and Harry have been interacting with attendees, enthusiastically greeting participants and getting active on the slopes in Whistler. They have also met with Invictus CEO, Scott Moore.

Meghan, 42, and Prince Harry, 39, took a break from Invictus Games duties last night to dine at a posh Italian eatery, II Caminetto, on Valentine’s Day, when the duchess continued with her winter trend and dressed in a chic red coat and black wide-leg trousers.

The couple did not look phased as they continued to take part in activities at the Invictus Games Vancouver warm-up event.

As well as a team of photographers and onlookers who have captured the couple’s every move, they have also been followed closely by a camera crew from Good Morning America.

Prince Harry appeared on the US show earlier on Friday, where he broke his silence on what happened when he flew to the UK for a brief meeting with King Charles.

In a shock move from the privacy-obsessed royal, Harry gave details on how events transpired from the moment he received the phone call from his father until he boarded the plane back to the US.

Harry said: “The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him [King Charles] and spend any time with him, I’m grateful for that.”

Harry dashed back to the UK as soon as he could following news of his father’s cancer diagnosis, even though he only got to see him for around 30 minutes.

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan, touched down in Vancouver earlier this week and will be in Canada for a total of three days to mark one year to go until the Invictus Games 2025.

Harry founded the Games in 2014 as an opportunity for sick and injured military veterans, who expressed just how much being part of the community means to them.
