The King and Queen of the Belgians will make a State Visit to Germany this winter.

King Philippe and Queen Mathilde are set to arrive for the three day trip on December 5th 2023.

They have been invited by the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

The State Visit will take them to Berlin and Dresden.

Earlier this year, they welcomed President Steinmeier to Belgium during a meeting for leaders of German speaking countries.

The German President has already hosted King Charles and Queen Camilla on a State Visit this year.
