Just before the races got underway, Charles was spotted standing on the balcony of the royal box with Lady Sophie Windsor.

The 42-year-old comedy star – who famously played Big Suze in Peep Show – appeared to be cracking jokes to the monarch, who couldn’t contain his laughter.

The mother-of-two is married to Lord Frederick Windsor – who is the son of Prince Michael of Kent.

For his fifth day at the annual sporting event, Charles wore traditional charcoal morning suit and black top hat.
