Prince William cannot “see a way out” from the ongoing quarrel with his younger brother Prince Harry, royal commentator Jennie Bond claimed.
The Prince of Wales has been effectively estranged from the Duke of Sussex since he left the UK to begin his new life away from the United Kingdom with his wife Meghan Markle and their son Prince Archie Harrison in 2020.
The brothers have since been briefly reunited on special family occasions such as the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and her funeral last year, but communication in between is believed to have been scarce.
Jennie Bond argued William is unlikely to “shed any tears” at the thought of Harry missing out on Christmas with their family yet again as he has moved on from their feud.
Bond said: “I don’t think William will be shedding a tear over this. Deep down, I’m sure he still loves Harry, but I don’t think he can see a way out of the rift that has opened between them.

“I doubt that William thinks about them for more than a fleeting moment – and then he probably tries to blank out those thoughts.”
The Prince of Wales and his wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales have been the targets of multiple verbal swipes from both Harry and Meghan since they stepped down from their roles.
The Duke went as far as to accuse his older brother of laying his hands on him during an altercation about the Duchess.
In their Netflix docuseries, Meghan portrayed her first meeting with Kate as rather cold as she highlighted the stark difference in their demeanour and appearance during dinner.
Bond said that the Sussexes are not likely to travel to the UK to celebrate Christmas with the rest of the Royal Family as she dismissed the possibility of William welcoming him back
She told The Sun: “I think William has closed his mind to the prospect of a reconciliation with Harry, and I can’t see a time when Meghan would be welcomed back into the bosom of the family – or a time when she would ever want to be welcomed back.
“Little Archie and Lilibet should be running around with their many cousins, pulling crackers, opening presents and understanding their place in the family, connecting with their relatives even though their lives are thousands of miles away.
“But that’s not going to happen.”
