Zara Tindall and Princess Anne are more popular among the public than King Charles, a new poll has shown.
The monarch’s sister and niece ranked higher than him as he came sixth in the latest popularity poll by YouGov.
The Princess Royal came fourth with 64 percent, while her daughter ranked fifth with 54 percent, despite not being a working royal.
Zara – who is known for being a professional equestrian – is married to ex-England rugby union player Mike Tindall. They share three children together, Mia, Lena and Lucas.
Princess Anne on the other hand is still a firm favourite among the public and was also crowned the hardest-working royal of 2023 – carrying out a total of 457 engagements – the most out of anyone in the Royal Family.
Charles’s popularity reached 52 percent, as his eldest son Prince William, along with his wife, Princess Kate, were crowned the most popular living royals in 2023, snatching the third and second place with 69 percent and 71 percent respectively.
Meanwhile, the late Queen Elizabeth still topped the list with an 80 percent approval rating more than a year after her death.
Duchess Sophie and Prince Edward ranked seventh and eighth with 50 and 43 percent approval ratings respectively.
