PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle’s body language proves they couldn’t be more different to Will and Kate, according to a body language expert.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, visited We Are Farming Minds charity in Hereford today, whilst Harry and Meghan appeared together again at the 2023 Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen meeting NATO chiefs and posing for photos with them before being mobbed by fans.

Body language expert Judi James told Fabulous the duo’s celebrity status and prolonged honeymoon phase is obvious from the way they act around each other.

She explained: “Celebrity power couples like Harry and Meghan know the fans love to see the love.

“A-listers like J-Lo and Ben, the Kardashians and the Beckhams will happily perform industrial-strength PDAs on the red carpet to share their passionate and idyllic relationships (even if they’re at breaking point.)”

“This gives Harry and Meghan the freedom to perform the kind of intimate, loving, flirty and even passionate signals we’re seeing at Invictus, even though it’s a sporting event where it’s not really relevant.”

Meanwhile, Kate’s appearance was less about being a celebrity and more about being a royal, Judi noted.

Kate and Will’s arrival was less focused on them and more about the children they were meeting, unlike Meghan and Harry who were much more of a spectacle.

The Princess greeted the children with a “modest baby wave and delighted smile,” which took the attention away from her.

Kate and William work very differently as a couple compared to Harry and Meghan, and their body language is telling of this.

“Meghan can be seen using their hand clasp to pull Harry along or communicate but William and Kate are naturally more synchronised and less in need of any non-verbal communication.

“Their bonding signals come from their synchronicity and subliminal mirroring.

“You know they’re a strong couple because they move together with a postural echoing that shows like-minded thinking and empathy,” Judi explained.

This isn’t true for Harry and Meghan though – although they were also working together, but their body language was more adoring of each other.

“We can even see Harry encircling Meghan totally with both of his arms in a passionate hug of ownership, while they both perform face-softening smiles called ‘the look of love’.

“They signal to the fans that they are in a permanent honeymoon stage of their relationship,” Judi said.

Meghan’s facial expression when Harry whispers in her ear “turns a simple gesture into something far more romantic.”

Even when the pair aren’t together their attention is on one another, miming hugs and cuddles to “show how tightly bonded they are.”
