New portraits of King Charles and Queen Camilla have been released just days before the Coronation.
In the images, taken in Buckingham Palace, Their Majesties are seen in front of a portrait of King George V, the founder of the House of Windsor.
They were photographed in the Blue Drawing Room at the Palace. The portraits were taken by Hugo Burnard who took the Platinum Jubilee photos of Queen Elizabeth II, released on the eve of the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of her reign in June 2022.
There is a nod to Her Late Majesty in the image as Queen Camilla is wearing a pair of pearl drop earrings that belonged to her mother in law. They also feature a ruby and sapphire.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are crowned on May 6th 2023 at Westminster Abbey.
