Happy Birthday to Duchess Marie-Caroline in Bavaria, Duchess Philipp of Württemberg, who celebrates her 55th Birthday today! The illustrious Bavarian Duchess who married (and divorced) the prominent art expert, Duke Philipp of Württemberg, Duchess Marie-Caroline has worn several specular heirlooms, but her collection includes this spectacular modern Topaz and Diamond Suite!

The exact origin of this modern suite is unknown but it was likely acquired by Duchess Marie-Caroline and the prominent art expert, Duke Philipp of Württemberg. The long diamond chain with a massive briolette Topaz/Kunzite seems to have been debuted in 2004, when it was paired with the Bavarian Diamond and Pearl Tiara for the Wedding Ball of her sister, Duchess Elisabeth in Bayern, and Daniel Terberger.
The next year, the Necklace was again was paired with the Bavarian Diamond and Pearl Tiara for the Wedding of Prince Manuel of Bavaria and Princess Anna of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.
Several years later, when Prince Manuel’s sister, Princess Maria Felipa of Bavaria married Christian Dienst, in 2012, Duchess Marie-Caroline wore the accompanying Topaz and Diamond Earrings.
Duchess Marie-Caroline also wore the Topaz and Diamond Earrings for the Wedding of her daughter, Duchess Sophie of Württemberg, and Count Maximilien d’Andigné at Schloss Tegernsee in 2018.
Most recently, Duchess Marie-Caroline wore the Topaz and Diamond Earrings and Necklace with the Douglas Floral Tiara for the Wedding Ball of Prince Ludwig of Bavaria at Schloss Schleißheim last year. There is no doubt we will continue to see it worn for years to come!
