There is already exciting holiday news for the Royal Family with a beloved event on the calendar.
The Court Circular for Tuesday, 24 September noted that, ”The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this morning held a Meeting at Windsor Castle.”
The Princess hosted an important planning meeting for her holiday carol service held in December annually.
This is significant news. While The Princess shared in a video earlier in September that she would slowly be returning to work following the conclusion of her chemotherapy treatments, Kensington Palace stressed that it would be a slow return.
The service will broadcast on TV on 24 December.
Her Royal Highness first hosted the Westminster Abbey carol service in 2021 and surprised viewers everywhere when she accompanied Tom Walker on the piano. In 2022, Prince George and Princess Charlotte joined their parents at the Abbey, with Prince Louis making his carol service debut in 2023.
The Princess of Wales first hosted the Royal Carols: Together at Christmas service to celebrate and support communities, particularly those supporting children and their families.
Although the event is now only in its fourth year, it immediately became a favourite public event on the royal calendar.
