The Duchess of Brabant and Princess Eléonore joined King Philippe and Queen Mathilde as they hosted the annual Christmas Concert (Kerstconcert) at the Royal Palace of Brussels. The Concert thanks the members of the Royal Household who contributed to the smooth running of the Royal activities in 2023 and 2024 and paid tribute to all Protected Court Suppliers of Belgium.
The King and Queen welcome the people who contributed to the smooth running of their activities in 2023 and 2024 for the traditional Christmas concert. They wish to thank them for the warm welcome within their organization or for their help with activities in the Royal Palace.
The Orchester Royal de chambre de Wallonie(external link) and the MuCH Ensemble(external link), the choirs Children’s Choir Opera Ballet Flanders(external link)and Maîtrise de l’Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège(external link), soprano Fleur Strijbos and baritone Oleg Volkov of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and singer Mentissa bring a musical evening in the Christmas spirit. The program includes compositions by Vivaldi, Mozart, Haydn, Gruber and Britten, led by conductor Vahan Mardirossian.
Queen Mathilde wore her Diamond Fringe Earrings.
The Duchess of Brabant wore Queen Fabiola’s Ruby Bracelet for the first time.
