Happy Birthday to Pengiran Anak Isteri (Princess) Anisha Rosnah of Brunei, who celebrates her 30th Birthday today! Prince Mateen of Brunei chose the design for this magnificent Diamond Tiara created by Singapore jeweller Flower Diamond, which was worn by his sister last year before appearing on his bride, Princess Anisha Rosnah, earlier this year!

Crafted entirely in 18-carat white gold, and festooned with 838 diamonds, the Tiara was created by Singapore jeweller Flower Diamond, who has created several Tiaras for the Brunei Royal Family over the past two decades. The creative brief stated:

Something simple, nothing too high or short, and something with a modern and lighter shape, The most specific detail was simply that the large pear- and oval-cut diamonds that feature in the tiara, loose stones already in the possession of the royal family, be worked and set into the final creation.

The result is a rather airy and delicate design: a slender frame that’s fully set with single rows of round brilliant and square diamonds; 13 large oval diamonds that radiate from a central arrangement, each of them mounted and connected with delicate curling gold filigree; and 16 ample pear-cut diamonds at the top, their points aimed at the centre and each linked by a square diamond, that trace a line towards an oval diamond that takes the crowning position at the top.

Princess Azemah, along with her brother, Prince Mateen, chose this design out of three sketches, which was first worn by Princess Azemah for her Wedding to Prince Bahar Bolkiah in 2023.

A year later, the Flower Diamond Tiara was worn by Anisha Rosnah binti Adam for her Majlis Istiadat Bersanding Pengantin Diraja Ceremony with Prince Mateen at the Istana Nurul Iman in Bandar Seri Begawan earlier this year, which was followed by a Procession.

The following evening, Prince ‘Abdul Mateen of Brunei and Princess Anisha had their Majlis Persantapan Diraja (Wedding Banquet), for which the bride wore Queen Saleha’s Diamond Heart Tiara. While Princess Anisha received several spectacular Diamond Necklaces and Earrings as wedding gifts, as per Malay Royal tradition, it is unlikely she will ever wear a Tiara agin!
