Zara proves ‘power of strength’ for Royal Family during diffcult year | Royal | News

Zara Tindall has carved a unique and influential role within the Royal Family proving a “power of strength” for her uncle, King Charles, with her constant dedication to the family.

It comes as Zara has proved pivotal in her mother, Princess Anne’s recovery from a horrific horse incident, which left the Princess with minor wounds to the head. She is reported to have been kicked by a horse while out walking on June 23 and Zara has been helping with her return to good health.

A source, speaking to Express.co.uk, stated in addition, Zara was proving to be a “great help to the King” in months of difficulty. The source said: “Zara is proving a power of strength which is a great help to the King at this time.

“Not only is she stepping in to help her mother, but she’s also regularly checking in with her uncle [King Charles] and has made trips to see William and Kate.”

In helping with her mother’s health, the source says that Zara and her husband Mike, who are both close neighbours of the Princess Royal on the Gatcombe Park estate, are taking it in turns to make sure she has everything she needs while she recovers at home. Following the incident, Anne had to cancel a scheduled trip to Canada for the First World War commemoration event which left her “deeply saddened”.

Speaking of Zara’s assistance with her mother’s recovery, the source explained: “Zara is taking an active role in helping her mother recover from the accident. The Tindalls live a stone’s throw away [on the Gatcombe Park estate], so Zara is always on hand to pop over to make sure Anne has everything she needs.”

Zara also made an appearance on Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot recently, and was on-hand to support Prince William at the event. A royal commentator even suggested Zara Tindall could become Prince William’s Princess Anne in a “slimmed down monarchy” when he takes the throne.

Angela Mollard, a columnist for News Corp, said Zara and William are the “best of friends”, and if she were in his shoes, it would make sense “pulling in” somebody as “trusted” and “faithful” as Zara.

Despite her royal lineage, Zara has managed to strike a balance between honoring tradition and embracing modernity. Unlike many of her royal relatives, she was not bestowed a royal title at birth, a decision made by her parents to allow her a more normal upbringing.

This choice has given Zara a unique perspective, enabling her to navigate the pressures of royal life while maintaining a relatively low profile.

Her marriage to Mike Tindall, a former rugby union star, shows together, they represent a modern, approachable aspect of the Royal Family, contrasting the often more formal and reserved image traditionally associated with royalty.

Zara and Mike share three children together, Mia, Lena and Lucas. The couple dressed up recently and took their two eldest children to the Taylor Swift concert on the first night of her Eras tour in London.
