AS A member of the Royal Family, Savannah Phillips has always lived the life of luxury.
The young royal resides in Gatcombe Estate in Gloucestershire, but often ventures out with her family for historic occasions.
Where was Savannah Phillips born
Born on December 29, 2010, in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, Savannah’s full name is Savannah Anne Kathleen Phillips.
She is the eldest child of the Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson Peter Phillips and his ex-wife Autumn.
Savannah is mostly kept out of the public eye by her parents, and her name was only publicly confirmed during a church service at Sandringham.
Despite her senior royal relatives, Savannah and her younger sister Isla Phillips live an incredibly private life in a home on the Gatcombe Estate in Gloucestershire.
Her dad Peter is the late Queen’s eldest grandchild, and the only son of Princess Anne.
Royal insiders have previously said that he was his grandmother’s “favourite” grandson.
While they are members of the Royal Family, Peter and his sister Zara Tindall have never carried out royal duties.
Peter met Savannah’s mother, Autumn Kelly, at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Montreal in 2003.
Like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, they married in Windsor Castle five years later on May 17, 2008.
However, in February 2020, it was announced that Peter and Autumn were divorcing, with the couple saying “it’s sad but is best for the kids”.
A statement issued on their behalf said: “After informing HM The Queen and members of both families last year, Peter and Autumn jointly agreed to separate.
“They had reached the conclusion that this was the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship.”
Their divorce was finalised in 2021, and they released a statement that said: “Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost.”
How is Savannah Phillips related to King Charles?
Savannah is the Queen’s great-grandchild.
So, as King Charles is the late monarch’s son, and Princess Anne is his sister, he is Peter’s uncle, which makes him Savannah’s great-uncle.
The young royal is also 18th in line to the throne – but was originally 12th, when she was born.
Together with her sister Isla, she is the first royal child in history to be included in the order of succession while also holding dual Canadian citizenship.
Who is Savannah Phillips’ sibling Isla?
Savannah has one sibling, Isla Elizabeth Phillips.
Her younger sister arrived on March 29, 2012, and weighed in at seven pounds, four ounces.
Although her parents have never publicly commented on their daughter’s middle name, it is understood that this is in honour of her late great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth 11.
Isla is a yea- and-a-half-younger than her older sister Savannah and one year older than future King, Prince George.
She is 19th in line to the throne, just behind her big sister.
Is Savannah Phillips a princess?
Because of ancient royal rules, Princess Anne and ex-husband Captain Mark Phillips, did not have titles.
This was because he wasn’t of royal decent.
This meant, their children Peter and Zara, also couldn’t have titles, and their children’s children can’t either.
Princess Anne turned down the Queen’s offer of making Savannah’s dad Peter a prince when he was born.
This followed in the footsteps of Zara and Peter’s dad Mark who refused a title as a wedding gift.
So this means that Savannah is not a princess, nor is her sister Isla.
