LADY Tatiana Mountbatten is the eldest child of George Mountbatten, the 4th Marquess of Milford Haven.

But what does she do? and is she married? Here’s what we know.

Who is Lady Tatiana Mountbatten?

Lady Tatiana was born on April 16, 1990, to George Mountbatten, and his wife, Sarah Georgina (née Walker).

She is the older sister of Henry Mountbatten, Earl of Medina.

She was educated at the elite £12,000-a-year Millfield private school in Street, Somerset.

Lady Tatiana is an equestrian who trained under Olympian Charlotte Dujardin.

In 2007, she was presented to society at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.

Le Bal des Débutantes is a ball and fashion event held annually in November in the French capital.

In 2010, she was featured in Vanity Fair as a young beauty of the peerage.

Lady Tatiana became the brand ambassador of Crofton & Hall, a luxury countrywear brand, in October 2018.

The following year she published a personal website containing an equestrian and country-style blog.

How is Lady Tatiana Mountbatten related to King Charles?

Lady Tatiana is a distant cousin to King Charles III due to her great-grandfather.

Her great-grandfather George Mountbatten was an uncle of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, King Charles’s father.

The Mountbatten family also have ties to the royal families in Germany and Russia due to her paternal ancestors Louis II, Grand Duke of Hesse and Nicholas I of Russia.

This means that although Lady Tatiana’s child is low on the line of succession, they will still inherit multiple royal bloodlines and titles.

However, that’s not where the royal connections end: Her stepbrother, Harry Wentworth-Stanley, is married to Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas. 

Who is Lady Tatiana Mountbatten’s husband and when did they get married?

Lady Tatiana is married to Alexander ‘Alick’ Dru.

Alick, who was educated at Eton and Oxford, works as an entrepreneur and founded a social travel app.

His great-great-grandfather was Henry Herbert, 4th Earl of Carnarvon, who was a leading politician during the time of Queen Victoria.

Alick proposed to Lady Tatiana during a skiing holiday in Verbier in January 2022.

She shared the news by posting loved-up snaps of the pair on the snowy mountaintop and adding an engagement ring emoji.

The couple then revealed their engagement in the Telegraph with a declaration stating: “The engagement is announced between Alick, son of Mr and Mrs Bernard Dru, of Bickham, Somerset, and Tatiana, daughter of the Marquess of Milford Haven and Lady Spencer of Alresford.”

Lady Tatiana and Alick got married in July 2022, at Winchester Cathedral.

Her gown was designed by British bridal designer Suzanne Neville. Based on the existing ‘Amelia’ gown.

According to the Daily Mail, her dress was adapted to include a bespoke three-metre train with embroidery from her mother’s wedding gown.

In June 2023, Lady Tatiana announced she is expecting her first child in the next few months.

The following month she shared a very candid glimpse into her pregnancy journey on Instagram by posting a carousel of precious photos highlighting her blossoming baby bump.

She penned: “Recent happenings [white heart emoji] Thank you for the sweetest messages.

She went on to talk about her baby’s gender, adding: “A few answers to the most common questions: no, I’m not still riding, yes I miss it desperately, we don’t know what sex baby is, it’ll be a surprise on the day, I have been and am still feeling fab.

“Very lucky I know! Xxx”.

What does Lady Tatiana Mountbatten do for a living?

Tatiana runs her own stable in Windsor but is also in training to become a psychotherapist.

Her website states that she is a psychotherapist in training; she wishes to combine her knowledge of horses and incorporate them into her methods of therapy.
