Who are the King’s grandchildren?


WITH his coronation just around the corner, King Charles will be hoping to share some quality time with his grandchildren at the event.

Despite being a very busy man, King Charles loves to make a fuss of his grandchildren.

Here we look at the monarch’s family in more depth.

Prince George

The eldest son of the Prince and Princess of Wales, George Alexander Louis, was born July 22, 2013.

He is also the oldest grandchild of King Charles and is second in line of succession to the British throne, behind his father Prince William.

Sharing his father’s love of football and rugby, he has attended events such as the EURO 2022 final and the Guinness Six Nations match between England and Wales at Twickenham.

Princess Charlotte

The only daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, was born May 2, 2015.

Princess Charlotte is third in line to the throne, behind her father and older brother.

Often seen at events with her parents, she was given a warm welcome when Princess Charlotte attended concert rehearsals at Cardiff Castle for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Louis Arthur Charles, was born on April 23, 2018.

Prince Louis is fourth in line to the throne behind his father, brother and sister.

He is the first British prince to be ranked behind his elder sister in the line of succession.

Prince Archie Harrison

The eldest child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archie Harrison, was born on May 6, 2019.

He is sixth in line of succession to the British throne.

Archie is currently living in California with his parents since they decided to give up their royal duties in favour of a more secluded lifestyle.

Princess Lilibet “Lili” Diana

The youngest child of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Lilibet Diana, was born on June 4, 2021.

She is seventh in line to the British throne and was named after her great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, who was nicknamed Lilibet as a child.

Also living in the America with her parents, she first met the Queen Elizabeth and King Charles at her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
