What’s the age gap between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry?

There is a three year age gap between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Meghan was born on August 4, 1981, while Prince Harry was born on September 15, 1984.

The prince and former actress grew up worlds apart – Meghan was raised in California but later lived in Toronto, Canada, when filming the TV show Suits.

Meanwhile, Harry grew up in the Royal Family in the UK and spent stints abroad during his time in the British military.

What’s the age difference between other royals?

Large age gaps are not uncommon among royal relationships.

Perhaps the most common being King Charles and Princess Diana, who had a 12 year age gap.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip

The Queen and Prince Philip had a five-year age gap, with him being older.

Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926, with the former Duke of Edinburgh born on June 10, 1921.

They got married in November 1947 at Westminster Abbey in London.

King George VI and the Queen Mother

King George and Queen Elizabeth had a five year age gap.

The king, who was born on December 14, 1895, died young, aged 56 on February 6, 1952, after he was plagued with severe health problems.

He was found dead in his bed in Sandringham House in Norfolk.

Elizabeth, known for many years as the Queen Mother, lived to the age 101.

She was born on  August 4, 1900, and died on March 30, 2002.

King Charles and Princess Diana

King Charles, who was born on November 14, 1948, was 32, and Princess Diana was just 20 years old when they married.

She was born on July 1, 1961, making the age gap 12 years,

They tied the knot in 1981 and announced their separation in 1992.

Their divorce was finalised in 1996.

King Charles and second wife Queen Camilla have a smaller gap of just one year – but she is older.

Her birth date is July 17, 1947, and the couple wed in 2005.

Kate Middleton and Prince William

Prince William was born on June 21, 1982, just five months after his future wife Kate Middleton, who was born on January 9, 1982
