Royal Guests and Relatives from around Europe celebrated the Wedding of the Hereditary Prince Stephan of Lippe and Countess Maria of Solms-Laubach at Schloss Detmold on this day in 1994, 30 years ago.
Hereditary Prince Stephan of Lippe, son of the Prince of Lippe and Traute Becker, married Countess Maria of Solms-Laubach, daughter of the 10th Count of Solms-Laubach and Princess Madeleine of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, at the Lippe Family Seat of Schloss Detmold. The Prince and Princess of Lippe have five children.
Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands (cousin of the groom), the Prince (uncle of the bride) and Princess Benedikte, Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, Dowager Princess Margareta of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (grandmother of the bride, wearing her Diamond Tiara), the Dowager Princess of Hanover (aunt of the bride), and Prince of Prussia were among the Royal Guests and Relatives.
