The Wedding of Princess Marie Adelaide of Luxembourg, the daughter of Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg and Prince Felix of Bourbon-Parma, and Count Karl Josef Henckel von Donnersmarck in a Religious Ceremony at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame in Luxembourg on this day in 1958, following a Civil Ceremony at the Palais Grand Ducal in Luxembourg. The couple settled at Schloss Wolfsberg in Carinthia and later in Switzerland, having three sons and one daughter. After Princess Marie-Adelaide’s death in 2007, the Count remarried a couple of months later, though he passed away four months later in 2008.
