The Royal Family of Pahang began the three-day Wedding Celebrations for Tengku Puteri (Princess) Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah, daughter of the Sultan of Pahang and Tengku Ampuan (Queen) Azizah, and FD Idzham FD Iskandar, at the Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan on August 22nd.

Tengku Puteri Afzan Aminah Hafidzatullah, daughter of the Sultan of Pahang and Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah of Johor, married FD Idzham FD Iskandar, in a akad nikah Ceremony at the Istana Abdulaziz in Kuantan.

The akad nikah Ceremony was followed by a  Istiadat Perkahwinan Diraja Ceremony. The powdering ceremony is when the couple’s families bless them by putting coloured rice powder and scented oils on their hands.

Princess Afzan wore a Diamond Tiara belonging to Queen Azizah, as well as several Emerald and Diamond Necklaces and a couple of brooches.

The istiadat bersanding will be held on August 23rd, while the istiadat bersanding will be on the 25th.
