Royal Guests and Relatives celebrated the Wedding of Prince François d’Orléans and Theresa von Einsiedel at the Basilica of St. Jakob in Straubing on this day in 2014, 10 years ago, followed by a Reception at Schloss Niederaichbach.

Prince François d’Orléans, Count of Dreux, son of Prince Michel d’Orléans, Count of Évreu and Béatrice Pasquier de Franclieu, married Theresa von Einsiedel, daughter of Curt von Einsiedel Hildebrand and Princess Amelie von Urach, at the Basilica of St. Jakob in Straubing, followed by a Reception at the bride’s family seat, Schloss Niederaichbach, where a Luncheon was held following the Religious Wedding and a Ball.

 

Princess Theresa wore one of her mother’s Tiaras with a white silk gown designed by Brian Rennie for Basler with embroidery that had a discreet fleur-dy-lys in honour of the French royal house.

Royal Guests and Relatives included Princess Gloria von Thurn and Taxis, Princess Maria-Anunciata of Liechtenstein, Prince Gundakar and Princess Marie of Liechtenstein, Countess Olympia von und zu Arco-Zinneberg, Viktoria von Einsiedel, Count Johann Friedrich von der Schulenberg, Franziska Praxl, Prince Henri de Merode, Sol  Medina y Orleans-Braganca and Count Alexander Strassoldo.
