Wedding of Lady Amelia Spencer

Lady Amelia Spencer, the daughter of the 9th Earl Spencer and Victoria Lockwood and a niece of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, married her longtime fiancée, Greg Mallett, in a Ceremony at the Quoin Rock Manor House near Cape Town in South Africa on March 21st.

Lady Amelia did not wear the Spencer Tiara, Spencer Honeysuckle Tiara nor any Spencer Heirlooms but wore a custom Atelier Versace Wedding Dress:

crafted, over the course of two and a half months, from custom silk rebrodé lace and featured a two-and-a-half-metre train, Swarovski crystals, a hand-embroidered neckline and structured shoulders, with intricate flower patterns running throughout.

She said:

I’m the luckiest girl in the world, It’s honestly the most beautiful dress I’ve ever seen. It’s been the happiest experience working with Versace. Every single member of their team were like angels.”

Among the attendees were her mother, Victoria Lockwood, sisters, Lady Kitty and Lady Eliza, and brother, Samuel Aitken, though it does not appear that Earl Spencer was present.

Lady Amelia said:

In my vows, I said to Greg: ‘In my heart, you’ve always been my husband and soulmate.’ We’re so lucky we’re now married, but nothing’s going to be different going forward”

Greg Mallett said:

I’ve been waiting 14 years to see Amelia walk down the aisle. To be married is a dream come true.

My love for Amelia has been reborn, Every day I fall more in love with this beautiful human by my side.”

All the exclusive wedding photos are in HELLO! Magazine this week.
