Wedding of Hereditary Prince Ludwig zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg

Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives from around Europe are attending the Wedding of Hereditary Prince Ludwig zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg and Helene von Pezold in Wertheim on September 9th, to be followed by a spectacular Ball at Schloss Wertheim in Kreuzwertheim this evening.

Hereditary Prince Ludwig zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg married Helene von Pezold in a Religious Wedding Ceremony at the Stiftskirche in Wertheim in the morning of September 9th, which was followed by a Procession back to Schloss Wertheim, the seat of the Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg Family since 1736, in Kreuzwertheim. The couple had a Civil Ceremony at the Town Hall of Kreuzwertheim.

The new Hereditary Princess Helene wore a Diamond Tiara worn a few months earlier by her sister, Sophia von Pezold, for her wedding to Baron Clemens von Elverfeldt, and may likely wear the grand Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg Emerald Tiara this evening.

Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives included Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria, the Prince and Hereditary Princess of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, the Prince and Princess of Schaumburg-Lippe with the Hereditary Prince, the Prince and Princess of Leiningen, the Prince and Princess of Isenberg, the Hereditary Prince and Hereditary Princess of Leiningen, the groom’s sister, Princess Sophie, with Count Constantin Fugger von Babenhausen, other sister, Princess Amelie, with Benedikt Schmid von Schmidsfelden, and the bride’s sister, Baroness Sophia with Baron Clemens von Elverfeldt.

Hereditary Prince Ludwig, known as Louis, zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg is the only son and Heir of the Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg and Countess Elisabeth von Waldburg zu Wolfegg-und Waldsee. Helene von Pezold is the third of four daughters of Countess Christina of Solms-Laubach and Kilian von Pezold, and a great-granddaughter of the 5th Prince of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.
