The Duchess of Brabant led Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives at the Wedding of Countess Caroline de Lannoy, a niece of Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie of Luxembourg, and Henry de Spoelberch in the village of Anvaing on August 31st, near the Family Seat at the Château d’Anvaing.

Countess Caroline de Lannoy, daughter of Count Jehan and Countess Béatrice de Lannoy, married Henry de Spoelberch at the Church in the village of Frasnes-lez-Anvaing followed by a Reception at the Family Seat at the Château d’Anvaing.

The inhabitants gathered on the village square to catch a glimpse of the celebrations and a few prestigious guests”

Countess Caroline wore the Lannoy Family Tiara, last worn by her aunt, Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy for her Wedding to Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg in 2012.

The tiara is composed of 270 old-cut brilliants set in platinum, with a diamond in an inverted pear shape superimposed in the centre. A dozen larger brilliants stand out owing to their closed sets, appearing like buttons along the patterns of leafed scrolls. The contours of the tiara, traced by the arrangements of the stones, are underlined by a thin line of platinum gilded pearls.

The tiara was made by Altenloh in Brussels. Ernest Altenloh, son of a silversmith.

The Duchess of Brabant led Royal and Noble Guests and Relatives alongside Count Rodolphe d’Yve de Bavay, Princess Charlotte of Nassau, and Archduchess Sophie, Prince of Windisch-Graetz.
