Virginia Giuffre health update as Prince Andrew sex accuser hits back | Royal | News

Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein accuser, Virginia Giuffre, has issued a new bombshell statement about a car crash she says left her fighting for life after police appeared to describe it as “a minor crash.” Ms Giuffre, 41, sparked concerns when she shared a photo of her with visible bruises claiming she was suffering from kidney renal failure after being hit by a school bus.

Ms Giuffre said a vehicle had hit her car and that doctors had told her she had four days to live. In a new statement issued by her family, it read: “Virginia thanks everyone for the outpouring of love and support. She is overwhelmed with gratitude. Today she remains in serious condition while receiving medical care. On March 24, in rural Western Australia, a school bus hit the car in which she was riding. The police were called but said that there was no one available to come to the scene.

“They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that if they were, they should make their way to the hospital. The school bus driver had a bus full of distraught children and left the scene to get them back, saying he would file a police report, which he did later. Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Virginia’s condition worsened and she was admitted to the hospital. Concerning her Instagram post, Virginia thought that she had posted on her private Facebook page. Virginia and her family thank everyone for their concern.”

On Sunday, Ms Giuffre, shared a selfie from a hospital bed to her Instagram, which showed her severely bruised face.

Newsweek reports a spokesperson for the police released a statement to the outlet: “The Western Australia Police Force received a report of a minor crash which occurred between a bus and a car in Neergabby on 24 March just after 3pm.

“The collision was reported by the bus driver the following day. The car sustained approximately $2,000 worth of damage. There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.

“The driver of the car was a 71-year-old woman. A passenger in the car was a 41-year-old woman.”

Ms Giuffre alleged that billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein trafficked her for sex at the age of 16 after she was recruited by his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

She claims she was forced to have sex with Prince Andrew on at least three occasions when she was 17, including while in London. The royal has always vehemently denied the allegations.

In 2022, Prince Andrew reached an out-of-court settlement with Ms Giuffre, reportedly worth £12 million, after she filed a civil lawsuit in New York. The agreement did not admit liability, but the Duke of York, 65, agreed to pay an unspecified sum to Giuffre and her victims’ rights charity.

The allegations and his disastrous 2019 BBC Newsnight interview led to his withdrawal from public life as a senior royal.
