The couple, who reported having issues with the paparazzi abroad, were able to stay in his home and were even allowed to make use of his security team while they found their feet in America.

Since then, they have remained close with Tyler, who is now godfather to their three-year-old daughter Lilibet.

They were spotted just last weekend attending Tyler’s house for his star-studded 55th birthday party, along with Oprah Winfrey and Alicia Keys.

The relationship also appears to be full of mutual appreciation as in recent years, Tyler has openly praised the couple and his happiness about how his home was able to offer refuge to the couple during their time in need.

On the Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, Tyler also said it was great how the couple were able to stay in his home for months on end before anyone found out they were there.

In an interview on the Today show in September 2022, Tyler also said how he admires the love the couple share.

He said: “What I know about the two of them – and I wish the world knew – how much these two people love each other.

“They found each other, out of all these odds against them finding each other, they found each other. The love they have is really, really moving and I wanted to do anything I could to support them.”

The piano sits at the centre of the couple’s Montecito home, which they purchased in 2020 and have lived in ever since with their two children Archie, now five, and Lilibet, 3.
