WITH palaces and castles dotted arout the country and a vast collection of jewellery and priceless art, the monarchy are quite literally worth billions.

So it’s hardly surprising each adult member of the Royal Family have very impressive personal net worths – and coincidentally that means the youngest members are also set to inherit vast fortunes too.

With their wealth and prestige being passed down through the generations for centuries, the monarchy’s wealth has actually more than doubled in ten years – from £9bn in March 2012 to £18.3billion in March this year.

From royal heirs Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis to the Tindall tots, here we take a closer look at how the youngest royals – the late Queen’s great-great grandchildren – fare on the family ‘rich list’…

With their father Prince William the wealthiest member of the Royal Family with a net worth of around £1.05billion, it’s obvious these regal siblings are set to inherit a very impressive fortune.

The heir-to-the-throne even beats his dad King Charles III, who is worth £900million – so who knows what George, Charlotte and Louis will be worth in years to come.

What is surprising perhaps, is the fact that Princess Charlotte reportedly pips her older brother to the post, and is apparently the ‘richest’ royal child, following in mother Kate Middleton’s fashionable footsteps.

Her influence is said to be so great, she sets trends all over the world, and is worth a staggering £3.6bn according to a recent survey.

Their parents Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 42, are worth a reported £48m, so little Archie and Lilibet are set for a very comfortable upbringing in their £11m nine-bed home in the US.

A lot of their family wealth comes from the Duke of Sussex’s inheritance from his mum, which had grown to £10million by his 25th birthday.

The couple has also made commercial income from a rumoured £18million deal with Spotify, as well as a deal with Netflix.

Unlike their cousins, they are unlikely to benefit from the ‘Royal Family prestige’ however, as their parents no longer receive any money from the Royal Family.

After stepping down as working royals in 2020, they rely on a number of their own deals to earn their own money.

Lady Louise Windsor, 19, and her younger brother James, Earl of Wessex, 15, live with their parents Prince Edward and Sophie – the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, in Surrey.

Prince Edward is believed to have inherited millions from his grandmother and late dad, and both he and Sophie dedicate most of their time to working as full-time members of the Royal Family.

As a result, they receive a salary via the King’s income from the Crown Estate, with the Guardian reporting Edward has earned £6.5m over the decades since 1982 for his royal work.

Mia, Lena & Lucas Tindall

Together, Princess Anne’s daughter Zara, 41, and former rugby star Mike Tindall have a reported family net worth of £30million – without any help from the Crown.

The pair – who share daughters Mia, nine, and Lena, five, and son Lucas, two – have created a reputation as the ‘normal’ royals, and have worked hard to build up a fortune for their family away from the monarchy.

Along with his sports career wealth, 44-year-old Mike has made lucrative TV appearances including on reality TV shows including I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! last year, and The Jump.

Zara has her own impressive equestrian career and has also modelled for multiple high-end brands, and the couple both have a string of lucrative sponsorship deals.

The pair have also made some savvy investments and property purchases, and in 2014, the Daily Mail reported they’d made a £500,000 profit selling their five-bedroom home in Cheltenham for £1.27million.

Savannah & Isla Phillips

They’re among the oldest of the great-great grandchildren, but unlike some of their younger cousins, Savannah, 12, and 11-year-old Isla Phillips live life predominantly out of the spotlight.

The older brother of Zara, Princess Anne’s son Peter, 45, was the Queen’s eldest grandchild, and according to the Express has a net worth of just over £14 million.

While Peter split from Savannah and Isla’s mother Autumn in 2021, the pair reached an amicable divorce settlement, saying in a statement: “Mr Peter Phillips and Mrs Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement.

“Whilst this is a sad day for Peter and Autumn, they continue to put the wellbeing and upbringing of their wonderful daughters Savannah and Isla first and foremost.”

While their financial future as members of the Royal Family is secure, neither Savannah or Isla have official titles, as Princess Anne declined the Queen’s offer to give her own children Peter and Zara titles.

Ernest & August Brooksbank

In May this year, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter Princess Eugenie gave birth to her second child with husband Jack, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.

The pair are now parents of two sons, after welcoming August Philip Hawke, now two, on February 9, 2021.

While she is a princess, Eugenie, 33, does not carry out royal public duties and doesn’t receive any allowance from the privy purse.

However, she is still estimated to be worth approximately £3.6million, meaning her family and two young boys are more than well-provided for.

As well as her job as an associate director at an art gallery, the majority of Eugenie’s fortune comes from trust funds set up by her grandmother the Queen.

Both Eugenie and sister Beatrice were also awarded a trust fund as a result of their parents’ highly-publicised divorce.
