The Royal Family attend Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph – Royal Central

The British Royal Family has marked Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph with the King leading the nation in paying tribute to those who served.

King Charles III, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal stood in front of the Cenotaph and laid wreathes; while Queen Camilla, the Princess of Wales, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester watched from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Wreathes were laid on behalf of Queen Camilla and the Duke of Kent by their equerries. The Duke of Kent was not in attendance due to ongoing health issues, but the plan had always been for his wreath to be laid on his behalf.

According to official reports, over 10,000 veterans and 800 armed forces personnel are taking part in Remembrance Sunday’s Cenotaph service; as were members of the government, faith leaders, and high commissioners and ambassadors from around the world.
