The Princess Royal has taken the salute at the March Past which follows the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph.

Princess Anne saluted over 10,000 military personnel from over 300 Armed Forces and civilian associations.

The March Past sees military pay their own personal tribute at the Cenotaph before continuing to Horse Guards Parade.

It comes after the Act of Remembrance on Whitehall.

Earlier, the Princess Royal had laid a wreath at the Cenotaph during the Remembrance Day service. The King laid the first wreath on behalf of the nation before an equerry laid a tribute from Queen Camilla.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Edinburgh then placed their own wreaths at the Cenotaph followed by Princess Anne.

On Armistice Day, the Princess had been in Staffordshire to attend the service at the National Memorial Arboretum. She later joined the Royal Family at the Royal Albert Hall for the annual Festival of Remembrance.
