The Princess of Wales visits family hub in Windsor – Royal Central

The Princess of Wales has visited a family hub to see the importance of stress management for parents and children.

During a visit to the Windsor Family Hub on June 6th 2023, the Princess was shown a range of support services including health visitor sessions and baby massage which are used to support emotional and psychological wellbeing.

The Princess also heard about a special stress management course run by the hub which is run by Achieving for Children, a not for profit community interest company.

It provides services across Windsor and Maidenhead, often through family hubs.

Catherine met parents and children who are using the services as well as staff offering the support.

The hubs aim to provide targeted help as quickly as possible to stop any issues growing.

The visit is part of the ongoing work by the Princess of Wales around early years development and education. Earlier this year, Her Royal Highness launched the Shaping Us campaign which aims to spotlight the importance of creating a supportive, nurturing world for young children to improve mental and physical health for generations to come.
