The Prince and Princess of Wales have welcomed four puppies to the family, as has been revealed in a new picture to celebrate Prince William’s 43rd birthday.

To mark her husband’s birthday, Catherine took to social media, posting a photograph of the Prince sitting on the lawn with his furry family members.

Family dog Orla – a cocker spaniel – is understood to have given birth to a litter of four puppies a few weeks ago.

Orla was gifted to the family by Catherine’s brother, James Middleton, in 2020.

The photo of Prince William alongside the dogs was taken by the Princess in Windsor earlier this month.

The caption which accompanied the picture reads: “Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!”

His Royal Highness is celebrating his 43rd birthday privately with his family.
