Prince Louis is well-known across the world for his cheeky antics at royal events, with the six-year-old often seen dancing, yawning, or pulling funny faces on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
However, in addition to being known for his cheeky ways, the prince is best known for being the youngest child of Prince William and Princess Kate, the future King and Queen of the UK.
While he is only ever seen at a few royal events a year, along with his older siblings Prince George, 11, and Princess Charlotte, nine, the public already knows quite a lot about him thanks to small insights given by his parents.
This includes one of his earliest words, which The Princess of Wales, 43, revealed in 2019 in the BBC Christmas special A Berry Royal Christmas.
Speaking to famous British chef Mary Berry in 2019 when Louis was just 19 months old, Kate revealed that Mary was one of Prince Louis’ first words.
The princess said her youngest son said the word after he recognised her on a cookbook in the family’s kitchen at Kensington Palace.
She said: “One of Louis’ first words was Mary, because right at his height are all my cooking books in the kitchen bookshelf.
“And children are really fascinated by faces, and your faces are all over your cooking books and he would say ‘That’s Mary Berry’… so he would definitely recognise you if he saw you today.”
In addition to Louis recognising Mary Berry, it seems that Kate and William’s older children George and Charlotte would also know Mary if they were to see her.
