The Swedish Royal Court has unveiled two new official photos ahead of the Jubilee week of King Carl XVI Gustaf.

The first image shows three generations of Bernadottes: the King with his heir, Crown Princess Victoria, and her daughter, Princess Estelle.

The second photo is of the extended Royal Family, where the King and Queen are surrounded by their children and grandchildren.

Their Majesties are seated in the front with their children and their spouses behind them. Their eight grandchildren surround them.

On the front row of the image are Prince Oscar, Prince Gabriel, Prince Alexander, Queen Silvia, King Carl Gustaf, Princess Leonore, and Princess Adrienne. Princess Estelle and Prince Nicolas are in the second row. The back row has Princess Sofia, Prince Carl Philip, Prince Julian, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill.

Both photographs were taken in the Vita Havet of the Royal Palace by Clément Morin.

The King will mark 50 years on the Swedish throne on 15 September.

Fellow Scandinavian monarchs and royals will join the festivities from 14-15 September. Jubilee celebrations begin on 13 September and go through 16 September.
