Princess Anne was seen sporting a bucket hat at the Paris Olympic games while visiting the Team GB house.
The 73-year-old royal, who is a member of the International Olympic Committee, won fans with her hat and even some critics.
MasterChef critic William Sitwell described her look as “reflecting modern Britain” and suggested she showcased “our descent into a nation of slobs”.
Slobby or not, it’s not the first time the Royal has donned a hip look at the prestigious games. In fact, Princess Anne has been pictured in several events rocking a bucket hat.
In the Paris Games, the royal was pictured in a white and blue Adidas bucket hat which can be bought from high street stores such as JD Sports, and also on the Team GB online shop for £23.
One of her earliest bucket hat moments came in the 1976 Montreal Olympics where she opted for a subtle black and white look, pairing the accessory with a baby blue ensemble.
Who can forget the red bucket hat she sported during the iconic London 2012 Olympics which came in a fitting red, adorned with the words Team GB?
The 72-year-old styled several types of bucket hats during the 2012 games, including the opening day when it was held in London, wearing both beige and red options.
Princess Anne’s other bucket hats have often shown support for the country with the words Team GB emblazoned on the front.
She has also worn bucket hats at non-Olympics events including at the Gatcombe Horse Trials where she was pictured in 2015 and 2019 wearing the accessory, the latter which she attended with her husband Sir Timothy Laurence and their grandchildren.
