Meghan Markle’s TV series ‘With Love, Meghan’ hit Netflix for the first time yesterday after a highly anticipated wait. In the show, which consisted of eight episodes, Meghan was seen cooking and hosting for a number of celebrity friends. These included American actress Mindy Kaling, former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer and famous makeup artist Daniel Martin.
While many expected to see Meghan cooking constantly, this was not the case. As well as baking and dishing up enticing looking meals for friends, the Duchess of Suchess could also be seen enjoying a number of other hobbies such as flower arranging, setting up for a party, and even hiking. However, since being released on Tuesday, reviews so far have been mixed, with some now questioning whether Netflix will renew the show or even their contract with the duchess, which is reportedly up for renewal this year.

So far, many critics have been quick to voice their frustrations at the show, with some media reviews giving particularly harsh verdicts, believing it could well be the end of Meghan’s Netflix deal. A review from The Guardian was headlined: “Kiss the Netflix deal goodbye! With Love, Meghan is so pointless it might be the Sussexes’ last TV show.”
Another review by The Telegraph, which gave the show two stars, said: “It is, to put it kindly, insane,” branding it an “exercise in narcissism, filled with extravagant brunches, celebrity pals and business plugs”.
Body language expert Judi James was also critical of Meghan’s show and went as far as to say it is a “nightmare for feminists”.
But Meghan’s fans have also flocked to praise the new show. One fan posted: “The new Meghan Markle show is adorable, she is so precious.”
Another saud: “Meghan was so involved and so [comfortable in] the kitchen. You can know that she knows her way around the kitchen.
“Every episode had something to offer. I can never not root for this gal!!! She deserves every bit of love and happiness. I hope they do a season 2!!”
