SHE may have access to world-renowned skincare experts, but thrifty Meghan Markle has proved there is no need to fork out a fortune to keep the wrinkles at bay.

The former Suits’ star, mum to Lilibet and Archie, is regularly snapped looking as radiant and ”fresh faced as she did in her 20s”.

”Meghan Markle the actress, mother, Duchess, Hollywood A-lister… the guises may have changed, but her timeless beauty remains the same,” said fashion director Amber Graafland.

Here, we take a look at just some of the secrets behind her princess-like glow-up.

Oatally weird – but effective

One of Meghan’s best accessories is certainly her always-glowy and filter-smooth skin – and this is thanks to homemade oat masks, The Sun reported earlier.

The budget-friendly at-home spa treatment consists of ingredients you can nab at any supermarket or your local corner shop – rich coconut oil, honey and porridge.

Meanwhile, to brighten her complexion, the thrifty parent will sometimes chuck in some turmeric into the paste too.

A-list skincare guru Nichola Joss told Fabulous: “At-home face masks are amazing, and I fully endorse them.

”They’re easy, free, and you have full control of the ingredients you’re putting on your skin — which is why most of my clients love them.”

Known for it high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory content, oatmeal can help with UV damage – perfect if you’ve been in the sun a bit too long.

What’s more, experts have claimed, the cheap breakfast staple also soothes your skin leaving it soft lightly moisturised without heaviness or clogging.

Need more convincing to incorporate oats not just in your diet but also skincare regimen? Due to its texture, oatmeal face scrub is a no-brainer, as it will gently remove any dead skin cells.

£4 spot saviour

There are hundreds of products in the market that promise to tackle and prevent spots – but Meghan swears by tea tree oil by the Aussie brand Thursday’s Plantation.

Meghan revealed: “It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all.

“It’s inexpensive, it’s small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time.”

Not only does the powerful skincare bargain buy helps to maintain a clear complexion, tea tree oil also treats a number of nasty fungal infections, such as the so-called athlete’s foot.

Eucerin’s Aquaphor & other must-haves

Chatting to Good Morning America, Meghan’s make-up artist Daniel Martin, who’s also worked with Jessica Alba and Priyanka Chopra, revealed that ”less is definitely more”.

His top beauty buys that fellow make-up lovers should always have include a good quality mascara, concealer, as well as a ”no-brainer” lippy.

”That colour that you feel confident in, that you can swipe on without even looking into the mirror.”

Meghan’s favourite lip product is said to be Matte Revolution Lipstick in Very Victoria by Charlotte Tilbury, which can be nabbed for £27.

The whizz, who attended the star-studded Royal wedding in 2018, also advised to not leave your home without blot paper to ”cancel out any shine” and a balm.

Before highlighter’s became all the rage around 2015, make-up lovers would use either a blinding eye shadow… or a shiny balm, such as Eucerin’s Aquaphor, to achieve that glowy look.

He explained that when applied on the high points of your face, for example, your cheekbones, it will reflect light the same way a highlighter would.

Chatting to The Sun, Amber agreed, adding that Meghan’s make-up routine ”hasn’t really changed”.

”Even in the early days of her acting career she never piled on the products opting for real skin (using primer instead of foundation) freckles and all, with a fresh glow and just a smudge of tinted lip balm.”

Bizarre facials & other faves

The former actress, who started her career in the early 2000s, regularly visits British facialist Nichola Joss, who’s worked with the likes of Scarlett Johansson and Gwyneth Paltrow.

And it looks like the whizz will certainly go that little extra to give her clients the glow they need, massaging the person’s mouth from inside with her fingers.

It’s not just strange £350 facial and talented make-up pros behind the Duchess enviable complexion and beauty – the mum-of-two is also known to practice facial exercise.

The thrifty California-based mum also swears by facial massages, such as the so-called Giraffe exercise

Revealing some of her go-to tips with Birchbox, the 42-year-old said: “I do facial exercises from one of my favourite aestheticians, Nichola Joss, who basically has you sculpt your face from the inside out.

“I swear it works, as silly as you may feel. On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are way more sculpted.

”There’s a reason she is in high demand around awards season when every actress wants to look A-plus.”

With over 40 muscles in your face, the aim of this mini ‘workout’ is to leave your skin feeling tighter and achieving a smoother overall complexion.

There are a number of different moves to choose from, such as something called The Giraffe, which is designed to tone and lift the neck area.

On the lookout for ways to reduce the appearance of fine lines? Fellow beauty fans, including Meghan, also swear by an exercise named The Smiler Smoother.

Three popular facial exercises to try out

1. The V: Put both your middle fingers together between your eyebrows and using your index fingers, apply pressure to the outer corners of your eyes.

Look up and move your lower eyelids upwards so that you feel like you’re squinting. Relax, then repeat six times. To finish, squeeze your eyes shut for 10 seconds.

2. The Smile Smoother: Hide your teeth with your lips (think Celebrity Juice) and make an o-shape with your mouth. Next, smile as wide as you can, keeping your teeth hidden, and repeat six times. Then hold the smile, place one index finger on the chin and move your jaw up and down as you tilt your head back. Relax, then repeat twice.

3. The Giraffe: Look straight ahead and place your fingertips on the top of your neck. Pull the skin down as you tilt your head back, then bring your head back down. Repeat this twice, then jut out your lower lip as much as your can, pop your fingers on your collarbone and point your chin upwards. Pull the corners of your mouth down, and hold for four deep breaths.

Celeb facialist Debbit Thomas noted: “Facial massage is very important for lymphatic drainage and to increase the circulation. This will then help products to penetrate better.

“Undertaking daily facial exercise probably benefits the skin like massage benefits the skin (plus you may get a de-stressing benefit too like you would in a yoga class), but this is not something I recommend my clients to do.

“I prefer my clients to invest in good skincare products, a thorough regime that is right for their skin and lifestyle and regular in-clinic treatments that are clinically-proven to work, such as laser rejuvenation.”

Another expert the wife of Prince Harry has become close to is skincare queen Sarah Chapman – the London-based pro even gave Meghan a little refresh for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend.

”I always love seeing my clients and friends glowing at these fabulous events and I think she looked so graceful and radiant during the celebrations, along with many other familiar faces,” she said in an interview with Town & Country.

Zen secret to her amazing figure

The Duchess is also a firm believer in keeping her body and mind healthy – and being a daughter of a yoga teacher it is perhaps no surprise Meghan regularly speaks about the benefits of the ancient practice.

After leaving the Royal life to live in the USA – a move that soon became known as Megxit – the active mum started attending yoga classes in Los Angeles.

“I do a lot of hot yoga, Moksha yoga specifically and then Pilates at Pilates Platinum in LA,” she told in an interview.

“I love running but I think you have to find a workout routine that really speaks to you beyond trying to get goals for your body.

“So for me, running is I need it as much for my head and to clear my head as for keeping in shape. I love to jog.”

Moksha yoga is said to offer “a cardiovascular workout, yet reduces stress by calming the mind”, because the heated room “detoxifies the body through sweat” and “relaxes the muscles for safe stretching”.

Hair me out

It’s not just Meghan’s incredible skin that makes her look younger than ever – her locks, too, are always picture-ready and perfect.

Chatting to Refinery 29, Meghan’ss stylist revealed that one of her holy products is Kérastase Bain Oléo-Relax – and sister-in-law Kate Middleton is also a fan of the £20 item.

Meanwhile, to ensure her locks get the royal treatment they deserve, the beauty enthusiast swears by Kérastase’s Nutritive Masquintense thick hair mask.

Even Meghan has days when her hair is feeling a bit flat. To tackle this, the former actress shared a nifty trick.

She told a source: ‘’When my hair is feeling a little weighted, Suanne, my hair artist on set, has me bend forward and she sprays a little Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray – or nothing at all- , and then has me ‘flip back hard’ to give my hair a little extra bounce.”

Buttoned-up style queen

Over the years, Meghan’s also gone from a young woman in teeny dresses to one of the best-dressed celebs out there, with some even calling her the new ”it” girl.

Fashion guru Amber said: ”Her wedding gown was a masterclass in understated bridal chic. Designed by British fashion designer Clare Waight Keller, artistic director at Givenchy, the double bonded silk cady for the construction of the dress featured only six seams.

”The three-quarter-length sleeve design with an open boat neckline oozed sophistication.

”While Meghan’s transformation into a royal ushered in an era of custom designer Givenchy and Dior looks, she’s settled on a modern, minimal style.

”Coining the phrase the ‘MM look’, she sticks to the same silhouettes and hemlines that flatter her figure.

”The price points are just a bit less eye watering these days,” the pro added.

Healthy eating and not dieting

With a fig tree growing in her background during the childhood years, it is no surprise Meghan prefers fresh produce instead of ultra-processed junk food.

”Because I work out the way I do, I don’t ever want to feel deprived,” she explained to Delish.

”I feel the second you do that is when you start to binge on things. It’s not a diet; it’s lifestyle eating.”

Her days start with hot lemon water every morning to help with speeding up the metabolism, followed by a hearty oatmeal with a banana and agave syrup.

Meanwhile, lunch consists of a protein-rich salad, which is then topped up with apples covered in almond butter and sea salt for a quick afternoon snack.

Dinner on the other hand is either a bowl of soup or pasta with a ”sexy” sauce made by slow cooking courgettes with water and bouillon.

Meghan’s go-to smoothie combinations

  1. Apple + kale + spinach + lemon + ginger
  2. Frozen mango + a squeeze of lime + pinch of turmeric + coconut water
  3. 1 packet of shake powder + ½ cup frozen blueberries + 1 tsp of cinnamon + some chia seeds + ½ cup almond milk + ½ cup of coconut water
