Royal Guests and Relatives gathered from around Europe to celebrate the Wedding of the Earl of Lichfield and Lady Leonora Grosvenor at Chester Cathedral on this day in 1975, 50 years ago.
The famed photographer Patrick Anson, the 5th Earl of Lichfield, son of Princess Anne of Denmark, married Lady Leonora Grosvenor, sister of the 6th Duke of Westminster, at Chester Cathedral, before a Reception at Eaton Hall, the Seat of the Duke of Westminster. The couple had met when he photographed her as debutante of the year in 1967, and had three children before divorcing in 1986.
Lady Leonora wore a Dior Gown with her Diamond Necklace Tiara.
