Royal Guests and Relatives from around Europe joined the British Royal Family to celebrate the Wedding of Lady Pamela Mountbatten and David Hicks at Romsey Abbey on this day in 1960, 65 years ago, before a Reception at the Family Seat of Broadlands.

The Wedding Reception was hosted by Lord and Lady Mountbatten at the Family Seat of Broadlands, before the couple left on their honeymoon, where they were at when Countess Mountbatten suddenly passed away.
