ROYAL fans have spotted one of Meghan Markle’s A-list pal’s sat close to Kate Middleton in Wimbledon.

Priyanka Chopra enjoyed the Women’s Singles Final donning a floral dress and sunglasses as she cozied up to her husband, Nick Jonas.

The pair enjoyed the game from the comfort of the royal box, just inches away from the Princess of Wales.

The Baywatch actress, 40, first buddied up with Meghan back in 2016 when they both attended the Elle Women in Television dinner in Los Angeles.

From there, they bonded in Canada as they were both filming close to each other.

Priyanka was also guest at Meghan and Prince Harry’s star-studded wedding in May 2018.

Despite being in the royal box with Kate, Priyanka has remained a loyal friend to Meghan, even previously publicly defending her.

There were rumours the pair had fallen out when the actress missed Meghan’s luxury New York baby shower, but Priyanka put these to bed when she visited baby Archie in Windsor.

But this isn’t the first time the star has had an awkward run-in with Kate, as rumours of a royal rift between Meghan and Kate continue to swirl.

In 2021, Priyanka also attended the Woman’s Final in Wimbledon and was spotted walking straight past Kate, seemingly trying to avoid her.

Earlier the same day, it appeared as if the star also snubbed her friend’s sister-in-law as she didn’t clap for her as she arrived a the match.

Although it’s possible Priyanka didn’t spot Kate, not everyone was convinced that was the case.

As for this year’s encounter, Kate didn’t seem phased as she  at Centre Court as Marketa Vondrousova beat Ons Jabeur to claim the grand slam title.

The princess is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and is a regular face at Wimbledon.

Opting for an £420 pastel green dress by Self Portrait Kate Middleton kept her accessories to a minimum but they had sentimental value.

The flower-shaped pearl earrings she could be seen wearing were the very same ones she had worn to her youngest’s christening back in 2018.
